Ella Findlay reveals Shondaland season 2 gossip and crazy character breakdowns

…And better than ever!

We have known for a while now that Shondaland will be returning for a second season (since the moment Sophie was found dead by the Black Diner with no explanation AT ALL to be precise!) but finally the stars have been allowed to share the INSIDE scoop with us.

The Blair Wardorf of Lightning Street herself, Ruby Groves, played by the fabulous Ella Findlay, came INSIDE exclusively with us to spill the tea:

Ella, what was your favourite moment in filming Shondaland season 2?

There are so many exciting moments this season, even more than the first – which I know can be hard to believe! I think it has to be the first episode though. Everyone was just so hyped to be back in the studios and to get back to it after the massive plot twist with Sophie in the season finale. We were all kept in the dark about that one, it was only Georgia Harris (who plays Sophie), Kye Brookes (who plays Matt) and Chris Matthews (who plays Ben), out of the cast, that knew about the death. I felt like one of the fans, wanting to find out more straight away, so when that day came to find out and start filming again, that was definitely a special moment.

Can you give us any spoilers about the first episode?

Ooo, that's a tricky one, it's hard to know what I can and can't say as I don't want to get told off by Mike... It kicks off where it left off basically. Some people are suspicious, some people are oblivious and some are suspiciously oblivious. That will give you something to think about I suppose.

The comments are going to be streaming in after that answer. The only details we have heard several hints towards are possible new cast members and characters. Can you either confirm or deny this?

I can actually confirm that yes. There are some crazy new characters and recognisable faces for sure, who have been amazing to work with!

Could you give us a breakdown of some of these characters and stars?

The craziest new character is played by Michelle Williams. She is a brutal badass who definitely stirs up some trouble. Ruby definitely finds herself in some trouble with Williams' character at times but it was so much fun to be able to work with such an incredible actress. She really adds another dimension to the cast and characters! Chris Ball is another big star lined up which I can confirm. He is just a regular police officer though ...

I feel like he isn't just a regular police officer?

Well that is for you guys to judge yourselves.

It appears Ella Findlay is just as secretive as her character Ruby Groves, she wasn't giving anything away but gave us lots to think about whilst we wait in anticipation.
